General
Pershing School
General
Pershing School, District
#2, was located 3 miles east of the village of Barronett, in Section 35
of Barronett Township. Originally called Glessing School,
named
after
the Glessing family that lived in that area, the name was later changed
to General Pershing, but it is unknown when the name change was
made.
It has also been known as just Pershing School, as well. The
school
