Cemeteries of Washburn Co.
The following is a listing of cemeteries in Washburn Co., as well as the directions to each cemetery.  Records pertaining to these cemeteries will be added as they are researched.

Anah Cemetery is located in Crystal Township, three miles east of Little Spooner Lake on Co. Rd. A.    See the Anah Cemetery Records

Birchwood Woodlawn Cemetery is located in Birchwood Township, 1/4 mile south of the village of Birchwood on Co. Rd. D.

Calvary Cemetery is located on State Highway 70 West of Spooner and just west of the Spooner Cemetery.

Chicog Cemetery is located in Chicog Township, on Co. Rd. F north of Matthews Lake.  See the Chicog Cemetery Records

Chittamo Cemetery is located in Frog Creek Township, south of the junction of Co. Rd. G and Colton Rd. on the east side of the road.  Chittamo Cemetery Records

Clam River Cemetery is located in Bashaw Township, on Co. Rd. D, 5 miles west of the intersection of Co. Rd. D and State Highway 63 south of Shell Lake.  Clam River Cemetery Records

Earl Cemetery is located in Springbrook Township, 1/4 mile south of the village of Earl on Co. Rd. E.    See the Earl Cemetery Records

Ed Hart Indian Cemetery is located in Bashaw Township, on Perch Lake Rd. by the Swan Bridge over the Yellow River, west of Spooner.

Greenwood Cemetery
is located in Minong Township, 1/2 mile east of the village of Minong on State Highway 77, turn left on Greenwood Rd., 1 mile on left.  See the Minong Greenwood Cemetery Records

Lakeside Cemetery is located in Barronett Township, 5 1/2 miles south of Shell Lake on State Highway 63.  See the Barronett Lakeside Cemetery Records

Lampson Cemetery is located in Brooklyn Township, on State Highway 53, 2 miles north of the junction of Highway 53 and Co. Rd. F.

Long Lake Lutheran Cemetery is located in Long Lake Township, 2 miles south of Long Lake on Co. Rd. M, then 1 mile east on Gravel Pit Rd.

Madge Evergreen Cemetery is located in the Madge Township, 2 miles east of the junction of Co. Rd. M and Co. Rd. B on B.  Then 1/2 mile south off B.  See the Madge Evergreen Cemetery Records

Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery is located just off US Highway 53 on Veteran's Way, about 3 miles south of the State Highway 70 interchange at Spooner.  See the Northern Wisconsin Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Records.

Old Minong Cemetery is located in Minong Township, east of Minong on State Highway 77, across Shell Creek on the right side of the road.

Riverside Cemetery is located in Trego Township, On the north side of North River Rd at the intersection of the old county road past Trego Dam.

Rocky Ridge Cemetery is located in Evergreen Township, 4 miles west of Spooner, on the corner of Jellen Rd. and Co. Rd. A.  See the Rocky Ridge Cemetery Records

Rosewood Cemetery is located in Casey Township, at the intersection of Island Lake Rd. and North Casey Lake Rd.

St. Joseph Cemetery is located in Trego Township, on State Highway 63, just east of the village of Trego.

St. Joseph Cemetery
is located in Bashaw Township, on Co. Rd. B on the outskirts of the town of Shell Lake, next to the Shell Lake Memorial Cemetery.

St. Luke's Episcopal Cemetery is located in Springbrook Township, east on Co. Rd. M, just past the Episcopal Church in the village of Springbrook.  See the St. Luke's Episcopal Cemetery Records

St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Cemetery is located in Springbrook Township, in the village of Springbrook, behind the Springbrook School/ Community Center on State Highway 63.

Sacred Forest Cemetery is located in Evergreen Township, off Fox Rd.  Privately owned, permission required.

Sarona Cemetery is located in Sarona Township, 3/4 mile west of the village of Sarona on a town road by Co. Rd. D.

Shell Lake Memorial Cemetery is located in Bashaw Township, on Co. Rd. B on the outskirts of the town of Shell Lake.

Spooner Cemetery
is located in Spooner Township, 1 1/4 mile west of the city of Spooner on State Highway 70.  Included in this cemetery is Babyland, a special section reserved for infants and small children.

Spooner Veterans Cemetery is located on State Highway 70 west of the city of Spooner.  It is next to the Spooner and Calvary cemeteries.

There are several cemeteries that we will include here because of their close proximity to the Washburn County area.  These cemeteries include:

Forest Home Cemetery, located in the town of Blaine, in Burnett County on Five Mile Road, near Dry Landing Road.

Greendale Cemetery, located in the town of Rusk, Burnett County, on Sleepy Hollow Road.  Also known as Green Grove Cemetery.

Sacred Hearts Cemetery, located in the town of Scott, Burnett County, on County Road H, 1/2 mile south of County Road A (near Crescent Lake).  See the Sacred Heart Cemetery Records

Stone Lake Evergreen Cemetery, located in the town of Sand Lake in Sawyer County, just east of County Road BB, along the railroad tracks.  See the Stone Lake Evergreen Cemetery Records

Webb Lake Cemetery, located in the town of Webb Lake in Burnett County, off State Highway 77 on River Road, south of  Frog Lake Road.
